It's a viral internet ad made by Saatchi and Saatchi Denmark for Quicksilver surf gear.
Seems to have worked though.

As someone pointed out, the dynamite surfing is a fake. It's an advertisment.
Probably silly add I know, but done well with graphics.
For anyone that questions it, take a look as he catches the wave. As the wave forms, it shows whitewater foam on it, indicating a wave has already gone through.
Then at 1min, 2secs watch the bottom of the vid. You can see the tip of another wave breaking
