Not so high speed

Still campin!

Anyways, right now i am in a library in a little town called ludington.

The "high" speed is not so fast, slower than my dial up, about 1.5 kbps!

Anyways, me and my friend (dustin) have been trail riding on a slightly modified golf cart that goes about 20mph . His dad and his friend get the 350cc 4WD quads! But the golf cart has gone everywhere the quads have gone, and only had to be pulled out once!

Ohh yes.

I am bored, so i am going to tell you about the golf cart. (so sit down and shut up )

Anyways, dustins dad didn't ride it until a couple of days ago, when he realized how slow it went. At that time it went about 13 mph, so his dad wanted to fix it, their quads had to keep in 2nd gear to stay with up it was so slow. So, the thing works by means of a 2 cylinder 13hp engine that runs a CVT hooked up to a trans axle. It has a mechanism that pulls back on the throttle when the CVT gets up to speed, therefore slowing it down. His dad went back there and made it so it didn't pull back the throttle so drastically, now it goes about 18-20 mph, and their quads are now in 4th gear when we go out on the trails.

I've always thought of Golf Trollies as glorified pensioners battery electric carts Or as a means of transport for those who can't be bothered to walk on a golf course I think we have one at Amberley

They go a lot faster

It wasn't too long ago that a Florida town, known for its retirement communities, had to enact strict regulations on golf carts. Seems the old dudes were hopping them up for speeds as high as 70 MPH... Local authorities were astounded when radar clocked them on the local streets.

I suppose it makes more sense than the old newspaper article I have that tells of Los Angeles CA having to enact limits on ostrich cart racing through the city streets...LOL. Apparently they called a halt to the practice after a few pedestrians were literally run down and even killed. Not something I'd want to explain to St. Peter...LOL
