not steam but a chubby dieselToday while I was surfing on here me mum called me into her room and said she had something for me when I asked what had she said guess I guessed her brothers minor she said come and look and I looked into a box and saw a cab roof for a second I thought she,d got me a mss engine until she took it out I could see a rather pudgy diesel she told me that a couple of months ago she had contact with an ebay friend who was into garden railways and she bought a engine off him but he accidentally sold it to someone else and to show he was sorry he not only sent our money back but built me this little diesel and sent it over but sadly the mail service cant even deliver a piece of bubble rap intact and it arrived in a rather sorry state but my parents didnt tell him it was bust because they didnt want to upset him and didnt tell me because they thought I would be rather upset that was a couple of months ago and they thought I wouldnt be able to get it working but a couple of minutes sitting on their bed with them telling me I might be able to use it for parts when I got her to roar into life now all I need to do is put her back together my mum isnt in contact with the man who built this anymore and tells me he is in the navy and incase he reads this I would like to say thank you for this wonderful little diesel.

your right it wont be to hard but it just shows you how our mail is treated that engine was welded together and it would take a lot of force to break it like they have.

Hmm the royal mail does seem to be on its @r$£ somtimes!
Dont say much for our monarchy as when the post is in the hands of the royal mail it is actually property of Her Majesty! That is why you can be done for treason if found tampering it!
Any way Nice loco!

if you mean DVD camera no it uses little cassetes
Graham-Jilly
my DV Camera uses litle Tapes mate and has a cable that connects it to the PC. when connected windoz will find it and ask to start windows movie maker. then you use the program to download the video and then create a movie
only trouble is it may require firewire connection to download the video so you will need a firewire connection in you PC
pauly
sorry parents say we dont have firewire.
even if we did they wouldnt let me cause they think I will mess up the computer.
Graham-Jilly
so how do you watch your movies ????
when downloaded onto the pc you can make the movies into DVD's

Only if he gets an IEEE 1394 Firewire port fitted to his computer (see above postings), and assuming that the video camera is compatible.
