He usually produces some stunning exhibits, but that Hobbies tug is something else.

'Fraid so Moose. The man has everything.
Rob,
the event was Mr Bowman's Birthday. It's an annual drop-in event that I hold to enable STIA exhibitors to steam a few engines and chat with their friends without the hassle of a major event. Technically it is not open to the general public and is not generally advertised although it is featured in the STIA website (www.fcrammond.clara.net ) and is usually mentioned on the two relevant forums. Anyone who is interested is welcome to turn up with an engine or two and have a chat but the only concession to civilisation is the tea urn and a plate of chocolate biscuits. I hold it usually on the nearest Saturday to Nov 24th (we hit the button this year!) and we usually have a certain concentration on the products of Dereham although all other makes are welcome. See you in 2008?
Incidentally there are some more pictures on "another forum".
