Bohm SterlingNot steam, no, but hey...my bohm sterling engine arrived yesterday. It is an HB13.
It is a most amazing piece of work considering the price. The balance is amazing - there is absolutely no vibration at all, even when it is spinning flat out. I could sit and watch it all day 
For a size comparison, here it is beside a Steamco
a Wilesco D10
and wedged between the 2 of them
The wick appears to just be cotton. When the meths runs out, the end of the wick just burns off. Is there anything I can do to prevent this, or do I just replace the wick as required? Or should I just blow the flame out before the meths runs out?
It runs for ages on just a few ml of meths. My 6 year old kept moving the flame to make the engine speed up and slow down 
I've now run it a few times, and it seems to get better with each run. After rolling her eyes at another engine, even my wife gave it a tick of approval on seeing it run

Yes, it's bigger than I was expecting too. It has very little power though, but it certainly makes up for the lack of power with its beauty.
