Renown Vertical Steaming againI have finaly got the little windmill going again..
Runs well with a little leakage from the portface and the whistle which is making it lose a bit of power.

I bet with a little running in and a drop or two of oil, the blades will spin again. So great to see it brought back to life.

Sounds like a great runner!

All my Renown leak a lot at the port face, probably because its such thin sheet brass its make from. Some good quality steam oil helps a bit though and an O ring under the whistle will fix that leak too.
It will probably improve a bit after a couple of runs once the piston and cylinder has worked out all the old oil and reseated itself too.
