Does anyone know how to fix a wobbly funnel on a mamod minor 2, or Mamod sp1?

Mamod SP1 chimney is a cast item, and not much you can do once the lugs have worn. If the chimney comes off from the smokebox, try glueing some thin plastic card on the inside face of the smokebox to give the lugs something thicker to grip on.

Mamod Minor chimneys are rivetted to the boiler I believe (mines away in a box at present), so you would need a blind copper rivet as a replacement plus a very long thin rivet puller to fit down the long chimney. Otherwise it is major surgery to remove the boiler endcap, and fit a replacement. If it does not leak steam then I'd live with it, unless it is really loose.

Thanks very much, no the Minors funnel isnt that wobbly, my dad told me to twist it slightly, so its prett gd at the moment. otherwise, thanks for the info
