Marklin 16051 (The original 4158 fom c 1925)

If, like me, you had been wondering what the original of this engine actually looked like, here are some pictures of one in excellent condition.

This is the Marklin 4158/91/7 made in about 1925.  This is the model the 16051 repro was based on and includes an optional dynamo.

It is currently for sale on e bay @ 1910 Euro with 19hours to go.

Who gets to look after it.
Nick

Also, is it a 50/50 venture or 95% you, 5% me?
markos

excuse me while I wipe up the drool from my keyboard. Now where did I put that rich relative...

Ohhh My! It's timeless isn't it?! The best part of a hundred years old and looking wonderful. A joint venture buy? Just imagine the postage across the Atlantic evey couple of months to keep both owners appeased!

Just out of interest, is this a buy it now price or is it being bid on? I haven't found this one on "the bay"
