Another arrival, Steam RelatedNot entirely a case of Monkey See Monkey Do, I was showing the thread where Gil had bought one of these to a friend and we discussed that one like it would be a nice addition being that I just went through a Fire.
This is a Die Cast Replica of a 1886 Silsby Manning Steam Fire Engine, Silsby Manning later became part of American LaFrance. It isnt a live Steam model, but sure looks neat and is worthy of being displayed with my Steam Engines and Accessories.
A lot less expensive than the $20000 live steam one at Ministeam.

John, a nice piece...we don't have to steam them all...some can be a lovely shelf queen and after all...it probably leaves you $19950+ or more richer! For that, you can start up a TE or other engine in the background and pretend the sounds and smells are from that one!

It was around $20 including shipping. I think it is really quite detailed, and will grace my Mantle.
