Meccano chainAnyone know where to get meccano chain at? I have found this
Its plumbers chain and looks close and might work. To me I would hve the teeth on the sprocket go in the little slots inbetween links. I got this a my local hardware store. Maybe with a little rigging and a homemade sprocket I can put it to work. [img][/img]

This guy sells pretty much any meccano part you are after, although he is on holidays for the next 3 weeks.

Thanks for the site, I looked at it and the stuff is pretty expensive 22 USD for 3ft of chain ( 1 meter ) I paid 17USD for 10 ft of chain

Yes it is expensive but then again so is all Meccano.
I use him to get uncommon or rare parts and the more common stuff just pick up in job lots off ebay.

Yep, he is your man, sells everything. Not cheap, but he does also list some bits as being lower quality and sells it a bit cheaper.
Failing that look out on e-bay.
Personally I found that you can spend a lot of time and lost bids on ebay trying to buy specific meccano bits, and in the end I just put together a shopping list on the meccanoman site.
Oh, I did also think meccanoman's postage was a bit steep.

You must be subsidising my postage as I thought mine was quiet reasonable.
I think he only charges actual postage plus 1.50 pounds for postage and handling for overseas delivery.
