Great video Lewis.
Lovely runner. When they get cheap they'll be on my "to get" list.

Get it off his website. They probably wouldn't sell it. By the sounds of things it was quite erratic and powerful it used steam up way too quickly!

It wouldn't lessen the power though would it?
You have to see the single cylinders full pelt to realise how much of an overkill the twin would be . You got an SP6 so you will know mate

Very nice, though Mamod should tame the exhaust on those. Steam cream all over the place!
A twin would be awesome (because I love twins). They might need to do up a nice cast iron base to hold it all together, like that other company uses

Great to see another SP6 in action Lewis.
I got fed up with the oily condensate everywhere that I've reversed the valve block so the exhaust hole is on the top of my SP6 (also done to prove it could be done on the William as well). I intend piping the exhaust to the chimney at some point, like the old SP5.
Wonder what has happened to the gas burner that Mamod were supposed to be producing for the SP6?

Great to see it again there Lewis, it ran real well at STIA, purred away most of the afternoon I think

Very nice runner indeed Lewis, quiet and smooth.
Was the piston valve engine a Mamod inspiration or originally a Forest creation?

Thanks for all your nice comments
steam cream
There has been no sign of the gas burner yet. Maybe they relised that gas would be to hot for it as solid fuel has managed to melt the paint on the bottom of the firebox
