Petrie Steam Up TodaySix Forum members attended the petrie Steam Shed today. It was good to catch up with Graham and hear about his recent trip. Clinton ran his new gas engine, which reminded me of a BSA Bantom. I ran two of my Bowmans an M158 and a Luton PW203. A good day was had by all. Here are a few pics and two videos, enjoy

Some very fine engines there, but I think the best thing about that picture is Clinton's look of total concentration!

a wonderful day and great displays. liz and i tried our new position in the shed . this worked a treat with lots of kids stopping and watching. liz took some of her fairground and i took the te s and pulled stumps all day. lol what a crowd, we hardly had time to grab a bite to eat. i totally forgot to take pics till just before we left. i did manage to inspect everyones displays which were outstanding.the shed was well pleased as donations were up a spotter for another steam event in july at another venue has invited the local members to attend. i could not believe the amount of girls and woman who were intrigued by liz s display. normally they tend to stand back and wait for the boys but lizs theory worked a treat. (that is to have something for the girls as well as the boys at these events) one 16 yr old girl spoke for ages to liz, then came back with 5 of her girl friends just to see the fairgrounds. (its a good job we left our sons at home lol.here is a pic of liz showing her rides to a young girl.
