Phil's Best bits of J26 :-))

Well folks we had the best day ever as so many turned up with displays there was certainly something for everyone and a great variety of makes and models for folks to see.
A big thanks to my fellow committee members for all their hard work and i know behind the scenes Pete and Jane puts in heck of a lot of their own time preparing things so it turns out ok on the day and they certainly didn't disappoint this year     .
Well here's the photo's and just how dedicated folks are to our forum as Titan got married at 10am and was at the show putting up his display by about 12.45 along with his bride.

"When you said a steam railway I had in mind something more romantic"

" A new demographic has been noticed among steam fans - the Classically Glamorous look, is this the end of oily jeans and facial hair?"

Congratulations to the happy couple, I hope they both had a wonderful day.

Les i have sent you a PM explaining about the trailer as it is a tar trailer.

Hi Les,

As Phil mentions the home built trailer in picture is something Dad (Joe standing by Phils table in right on picture) made up in the workshop basically to see if he could make it from scratch,  as he remembers the road rollers towing the living vans and tar pots when he was a lad.
