Photobucket upload horrendously slowEver since Photobucket added the new software it has become horrendously slow on the uploads for me. This is with their new system AND the old system.
Has anyone else had this experience?

It hasnt been so slow, but they seem to be out of service a lot as of late. I thought it was just me.
I go to upload and get a 404

I often wonder about PB's financial viability (and other free sites like them)...we upload loads of pics and videos, but I for one have never seen HOW they make any money hosting such stuff for nothing.
We may wake up one day and find them shutdown permanently

They sell advertising and an occasional print, along with a few other such items. On such a large scale server space can be rather cheap. There are others that have come before them that have failed though. I use one that is still free, but takes no new users.

we have been finding it slow for some time as well  
but mainly certain times of the day for us

yes I have its doing my head in waiting ages for it to upload only to see it hasnt uploaded all of them

I was uploading photo's on Friday and it was fine then although it offered me the new format I changed it back to the old one.

Have you looked at how many photos are on there?
How many more can they hold?

I gave up on PB for uploading vids some time ago.....
Most of other people`s PB vids don`t play for me either.
The forklift vid only plays for 1min +, also the Bowman 135.........

The Forklift video is on YouTube not PB, you might have other problems also. So many so called "high speed" Internet providers seem to be slowing down a lot.
