Working Draincocks!!!!
Get rid of the all the condensation at the start of the run.

Jim,
I wouldn't work with ocsillating cylinders, and definatley not with mamod ones! You could always simulate them using the exhaust steam, as demonstrated in a recent Garden Rail.

You could have a diversion valve on the exhaust pipe that diverts exhaust from the chimney to the draincocks.
I wasnt to keen on the one in Graden Rail (am i right in thinking it was a roundhouse billy?) as there on continously.

It would be impossibly hard to get at a valve that small in sutch a awkward place.

Errrm guys, please keep on topic

You could machine one.

You can buy them but what I'm stating is, it'd be in too mutch of an awkward place to change it!

The more you put on, the more that can go wrong
Get it working well first, then adapt it. Otherwise, problem solving becomes a real head-ache!
Believe me! Rosa would be a display model only if I had kept it as it was

Oh great
You'll have to find a pre-war engine first!
They do upwards of 150 so I reckon if she's a runner you will be ok for cash!

The engine is really looking great, I supose I'll have to do some mods to a couple of mine if i want them running properly.
