After many favourable comments from members of this board and also some very well respected Toy Shop Steam Collectors I have made the decision to go into a Limited Production Run of MFTwin Engines. The run is to be strictly limited to 100 with a guarantee that I will make no further engines. The MFTWIN comes complete with a burner and a specifically made Solid Card Box. Hi John It is indeed one of my engines in the newsletter, it was the first of two mamod mm2 twins that i made and ran earlier this year. i left it with GD at Kempton to show Steven Mallins. It was only after that show that i decided to make a production run. neither of the first two engines are engraved with MFTwin but i wont sell them so they will not be on Ebay being passed off as originals. Hi Chris I will test run the engines on air before they are dispatched, they are being sold as static model only as i cannot accept any accept liability for damage or injury caused by trying to steam this engine. i will gladly supply you with an air adaptor for a very small fee. MooseMan This is going to sound terrible, so let me first say that I think you've done a terrific job and that the engine you've made is a thing of beauty.... ....however, I'm not really interested in reconstructions of existing engines....what I would be much, much more interested in would be an engine of your own design. If you're capable of this phenomenal level of model engineering I'd really like to see an engine that's made without the constraints of having to look like an existing one - a Mamodfan Original Design! Still, regardless of the above, the quality of your work made my jaw not only drop.......it's actually still hanging around somewhere underneath my workbench! Steve_S The Mersey three cylinder? Then I still think I would be too tempted to fire it and I would be the only person that had one with a dirty boiler! But then maybe one of them should be fired...
