My old computer has passed to geek heaven.

I was looking around for another and my wife of 44years told me to "Go and buy a new one" (they sure know how to win brownie points!!)
Ya I know, I'm spoilt, but gees it's worth it, it's one of those wide screens. So I'm spending time setting it up and finding my way round.
It's got vista, but win7 is included when available.

That's what my missus said when I had to work away from home, "Get yourself a laptop". But she came with me to the shop and made sure I didn't go too crazy.
Those wide screens are certainly nice, BK! My old monitor at home is deeper than it's wide.

I just got Mrs RedRyder one of these for her birthday.
It's a bit overkill for her but hopefully it will be a while before she outgrows it.
