Jensen sells stainless steel boiler straps for $2.00 USD/pair and sold same price for 2.5" or 3.0" diameter boilers. Not as cheap as coffee part straps...but my wife would frown on me borrowing those!

The strap is from a Banding machine we use at work and the strap comes in bi rolls. We us the strap to hold items on to vent polls.
the strap has a brand name imprinted on one side it is UTILUX.
this brand i think is world wide. It is a bit thiker than the origal strap

Is that the same type of banding they used to use around boxes etc before the woven platic stuff replaced it?
Cheers

Sounds pretty cheap to me, Rog. I've been paying $2 and $3 for used coffee
pots at resale stores. I can get 2-3 boiler straps from one coffee pot, so a
pair of them for $2 looks pretty good. Trouble is, I think Jensen straps fasten
to the top of the firebox and with my engines they need to reach down to the base.
