That is a nasty little pinhole ine the endcap there , did you have the regulator fully open when you stopped the engine by hand??

Hi David,
you probably will need a bigger boiler, but you can try superheating the steam by looping the steam line down the boiler flue. Also make sure that the burner is on it's highest setting without blowing itself out.
However, the boiler and the burner that are meant to go with this engine (B3) are double the size of the one you and I have.
I think you engine is running faultlessly, as do all the Saitos I've come across.

Nice. I can see why Saito's are so highly valued. Very smooth and looks to be very well made.

yes i was on full steam i already know that saito only reccomend that boiler for the two cylinder engine so i know in the back of my mind i will have to buy a new boiler.
