What a great time I had guys. Despite the weather being very unsettled, this was a tremendous show.
I'm so glad you guys put me wise to this, as I loved every minute.

I recognise some of those engines from when they used to visit Summerlee In fact Tigger (the little 1/2 size TE) was stabled at Summerlee when I was there, although I never got to drive it.
If you ever get to visit Summerlee yourself, Sandy, say hello for me. There might still be people there who remember me.

That Standard is a 1943 model. A couple of easy pointers - it was painted green so the Germans couldn't strafe them as easily, and it has narrow mudgaurds. They cut the metal down from the wide mudgaurds to save for the war effort
