I tap with a screw driver, or use players like James. Can't have a cloth dangling over the firebox when a meths flame is above the firebox

I burnt the hair off my right arm with a bit of spilt meths, wouldn't like to do that again in a hurry. Must be carful! especially as the past few steamings of my SE3 i've had a monster flame!

Back on topic. I still need to do a video of the Mahood in action. I'm working on an oil drip feeder for it soon! so i'll update with that as and when it happens I guess

I'm going to make it out of Brass, Quite similar to the Bowman ones I hope. They will just clip on the steam pipes above and drip oil into the oiling holes every so often
Need to draw up some plans first. Will hopefully be able to switch between engines too

It's usually ok till the meths runs out.
I used to do it as a kid, dip finger in meths then light. Until flame ran out, or dad caught me, it didn't hurt
Never grew up to be a pyro like my Dad thought I would
Now, where'd I put those matches
