i know some people on here think SEL is a bit basic but i think its ok for what it is

anyway basic means theres less to go wrong
Wallace

Yeah mate, I mean I don't mind em. I guess it's something that I can't buy cos I can't afford to branch out into other brands just yet.

But still, great pics, nice looking engines, and thanks for sharing mate. Always appreciated

Your right mate, I've got my eye on a little SEL twin cylinder that I know someone has got and is currently in pieces. I said I wasn't getting any more engines as my display area is overflowing and I'm having to put some engines back in their boxes. I rather like the charm of these little engines.

Cheers

Nice little engine Lew.

A tip on collecting; If you like it, collect it, at the end of the day it's what you like.

I'm not that keen on SEL but the twin cylinder is good

Great collection Lewis

Nice engine lewis.

Didnt reailise how good runners they were until 2 weeks ago when i fired mine up. Nice heavy flywheel in comparison to size
Lewis

Very nice Lewis. SELs are lovely little engines and really nice runners - enjoy it.

Very nice!

About a month ago there were some SEL lathes on US Ebay. They are very stylish. I put on a bid, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough.

For some reason they tech silly money.....pity, as it's the only SEL driving model I don't have.
