Show James what you have.OK everybody, Woe just got an idea from Rollies post. I think it would be kind of neat to see how many Mamods are amongst the troops. If you have one or more, and from the looks of some of your collections I should probably rewrite that to, one or a plithera of Mamods take a group shot and post it here. Then James can count them up and see how many are in the forum. Stationaries, mobiles, marine, everything Mamod. Remember, "When in doubt, whip it out", as long as it says Mamod, (NO TATOOS). First off I have three. The SE3 runs great as does the MM1, I think, the one on the left. The one on the right just sets in the box. I don't know how old they are but the SE3 has a push button whistle. NEXT!

Les, I hope you get the treatment you need for that addiction. 
My offering seems paltry now, but here it is. Apologies for the quick camera-phone shot. When I joined here, I think I only had the SP1, and had been happy that way since 1978. I blame James directly for my need to own more engines than I have time to steam! Thanks for making this place, James.

Here are my Mamod Rollers.
My first modification attempt on a TE1A with RC. 
My 4 SE's are amidst some Weedens etc. but you can "weed" them out. A boxed MM1, an MM2, SE2a and SE3. I also have a boxed SP2 w/Dynamo.

Sad to say, I only have one Mamod, and not even a very rare one, but it was my first steam engine, I got it as a child, and it runs very good. Someday I hope to get one of the flatbases, but until then I have to enjoy my SE2a in as many ways as possible

Party time, , there have been a few subtractions, and more than a few additions since this image was taken, and there are one or two interlopers as well,
Oh, yeah, and a few flat bases too, I think another are another 5-6 since this was taken, missing SC3, SC2 etc

I'm sure by now James knows we haven't forgotten our roots.
A part of me also thinks that he might believe that, "If it ain't a flat base, it ain't a Mamod". 
He's been eerily quiet throughout this entire thread.
Then again, he'll have to make some allowances since he's almost cornered the market on them and left many of us with nothing but everything else.

OK just a couple.
And yes the SE2 is one of two that I have and not the best one either. The best one is all in pieces because I'm doing modifications. But now I think that I will change over reassemble the better one and use this one for my Mods. 
Now this is my second SE3 and it only arrived last week. The other one has really nice Brass work, bur the the Base plate is badly rusted, so therefore I bought this one. And as you can see I have tried cleaning up the brass on the chimney, just to see how it would turn out. So I've go ta bit of work to do on both of my engines.
