Sightglass question Answered

Are MSS sightglasses interchangeable with Mamods or are they not?

They are certainly interchangeable with the SL1/2/3 , but I couldn't say for the new loco.

I just got both a MSS sightglass and a Mamod Loco sightglass in the post today, absolutely no difference at all.
Eyes are too shot to install one tonight though, will have to wait till later.

Lemme guess one is plastic....one is glass....???

They both look identical I think they come from the same source.
No difference, nada.
Now remember though, the Loco sightglass is not the same as the sightglas for a Mamod Stationary or Mobile, they use a thin piece of glass or plastic that remind me of a Microscope slide, the loco glass is thicker.

So, should one really be called a sight plastic?
