They look nice in Blue, how are you going to solder a thread in Jimbo? There is no way of getting inside those boilers i'm afraid
James

there is this boiler. its home made by the looks of it. a boiler sized bit of copper tubing with copper circles soldered in the end. i need a whistle thread too

Strange, if the ends come off your in luck I'd be very careful with home made boilers, you don't know how well they have been put together

I'd spray it matt black though! definatly!
James

i am gonna spray it black yeh

Should have Jimbo, you need heat resistant paint or it will burn off in seconds. You could buy a new boiler for about 20 quid with all the pipework and threads and things
James

its 30 plus postage. 30 more than i can afford currently...
Mamodman123

http://www.pps-steam-models.co.uk/

Not from here, 20 quid Jimbo
James

naa ill leave it. probably more than the locos worth

ill just use this one. ill make it work.
Mamodman123

Good luck Jimbo
James

ill need it....
Mamodman123

Ive put the stickers on now!

They are on a clear background which is good as it protects the paint! They went on fine and are a perfect fit!

I recommend these to anyone!

What do you think guys?
James

amazing!!
Mamodman123

The stickers have really finished it off Jimbo

Should have the track on the 29th (my birthday)
James
