Small parts

If you want some small parts here's a great site.

I have been looking for hours

I agree Ranger, the place is a virtual candy store for hobby folks.

My only complaint with them is that they ship only by FEDEX...so when I bought a handful of teflon washers from them, I said "please just ship in an envelope with a first class stamp".  Nope, $5 in washers cost about $11 shipped FEDEX in a box big enough to hold a toaster.

I have ordered from them since, but I make sure to get enough items at once to bear the cost of the FEDEX delivery charges.

I agree with Rog, Small Parts is a great shop, but the shipping can be a killer ! Recently bought a foot length of 1/4" diameter Delrin rod, the shipping alone double the cost of the order.

Nevertheless, I will be ordering from them in the future, they just have what I need.

So its probably best to order in bulk. They have alot of stuff, but alot is out of stock. Mostly the stuff that I want

Looks like a great site, the only problem I can see is that they are in the USA! A nice one stop shop for all those little project bits though!

Needs a UK based equivalent, lots of choice and reasonable prices too.

If you were building, say, a shay, or some other geared locomotive with all those bevel gears and uni joints and collars and bearings, that would be your one-stop shop!

If you were building, say, a shay, or some other geared locomotive with all those bevel gears and uni joints and collars and bearings, you could practically build half the loco with bits from that shop!

What really hurts is the UPS brokerage fees when shipped to Canada,
Parts and shipping $31.71, then brokerage fee of $ 17.10 was added as well as the GST on the fee of $.85.
