A good price and 10km away from where I live, so I couldn't resist. The D10 is one of the earlier versions from the mid 1950's. The D16 needed some work, it was missing a few parts and the engine base needed repainting. It has now ended up like this: And I had it running for the first time today [/img] Stitch1615 Nice take. Swift Fox Two nice grey based ones there. peol The water tray seems to be missing on most engines, and I guess can be hard to find. The old tin plate trays are very hard to find, but the newer plastic trays do fit the older models also. I have also a grey based D16, great engines, great runners. Steamboat Willie Engines What's with the sudden surge of steam engines being uncovered in Sweden of late. First there was Bugsy and his steam wagon, now Peol and his recent acquisitions.
