Its a simpton of our popularity.
We have the option of turning on visual authentication to help stop this but due to a bug in the software it doesn't always work and would end up stopping real members from joining. All new members need Wallace or James to activate their account before they can post so although these spammers manage to join they never get to post. Spammers are deleted every day, sometimes 5 or more a day. I can promise you it annoys us mods and admins even more than it annoys you. Atleast this type of spammer is easy to spot, some are a bit more subtle but so far no spammers have managed to post here. |
