steam fairs in derbyshire?Hi,does anyone know of any steam fairs in thederbyshire area? thanks Tom 
i know of one place that iam going to, as a family freind is the drive of one of the big steam rollers. 12 tone. i just wondered if there are anymore as these ones dont steam very often. |

Thanks for reply, I'm in Nottingham, not to far away. There are many steam events and places of interest in the area. Have you been to papplewick pumping station? I use this Old Glory site all the time, it gets me out and about, never fails to bring something up. Glad to be of help Cheers H2o |

Hi Tom,
Papplewick is on this week end - good time to go, Sunday and Monday pm best, take a camera - It's a Victorian wonder. If you do go make sure you see the steam workshop off the bioler house, small but interesting, all the tools work of line shafts and /or steam I'm off to the Lakes for a couple of days, so not going this time. Any inof needed - Google Papplewick Pumping Station - maps on there and every thing Regards H2o |
