Steam Gallery UpdatedAdded a couple of new items on The Steam Gallery last night and tried to get the site navigation back under control. The Elbow Engine, the Jensen 95G and an update to the model 51 area are all new additions, along with a couple of new site links. Drop by and check things out.
More updates to come, but those will take a bit of time to happen.

2 51's
I thought it was a trick with a mirror for a half second
Those certainly can't change hands often, so it's nice to see a bit of a story about the comings and goings of the second one

Steve, it looks grand and a few more engines have crept in since the last update
Your elbow engine looks so good...you have got to get a camera with video capability (they are like $75), we need a video of that one and a few others in the "gallery".
cheers,
Rog

Steve, I have to put you on my list of people to meet when I get a drivers licence. Love the collection, IMHO you NEED to get videos of you engines running.

Thanks guys... I've actually been feeling a bit guilty about letting the site go somewhat fallow. Other projects kept taking priority and I kept putting it off. I'll be adding more toy engines over the next while so I'll let you know as those come on board. Now that I've rearranged things a bit, the few toy engines that I do have can join the ranks much more easily.
The pair of Jensen 51's was really rather inconvenient. You have no idea just how big the darned things are until you've tried to find a place to keep one. Ask Roger and I think he'll agree with me. Buying a second one just compounds the problem and, unless your wife is as understanding as mine, could be a real threat to wedded bliss....LOL
I already had steam engines sitting all around the house and that pair immediately took over what is a relatively large great room. To say they were a dominant focal point would be an understatement. Even when I moved them to the garage, they managed to make working there quite an experience. Luckily, the second one was soon on its way to a new home, but not before a friend and fellow collector made rather a long trek to visit. He simply wanted to say that he'd run two of them at the same time...LOL.
Chances are high that it was a once in a lifetime event, but one it's been fun to share, over a beer or two.
