DouglasC I'll be there - in the Meccano Society of Scotland tent - with three models incorporating the Meccano steam engine. Unfortunately, our public liability insurance doesn't cover live steam so they'll either be static or electric powered. _______________ Douglas Sandman I'm popping over on Sunday.   DouglasC I hope you'll say hello, Sandman. On second thoughts, I've decided to take the meths and the steam oil, and ask the organisers if I am covered by their insurance. I think we had two cranes last year for playing with. __________ Douglas Dampfmaschine Hope you and Sandman have a good time - got to be better than being stuck in the Waverley Station for 12 hours each day Sandman Had a brilliant time, although the weather could have been kinder. I met up with Douglas in the Meccano tent and we had a right good chinwag. I had no idea that we had so much interest in steam traction and related stuff in Scotland. I can't believe I forgot my forum cards, as I met so many guys with an interest in toy steam.     I've got plenty of pics and some vids as well that will be posted in a separate thread.
