Steam roller and Traction engine heaven . . . .

I wont prattle on!
Pictures can do the talking.

TE1 n&b, TE1 rivet, TE1a straight lever, TE1a 1975 transitional, TE1a 1990s Blaydon built version.

SR1 n&b, SR1 rivet, SR1a straight lever aluminum wheels, SR1a Mazak wheels (My first ever Mamod 1973).

gorgeous collection mike

It would probably be a fair statement to say you have a warm spot for Mamod traction and steam rollers !!

I think I could use some lessons in photo work...you get exceptionally clear pics and unbelieveable closeups...I can "feel" the shine on those whistles!

Nice stuff,
Rog

Good good Mike!

Super collection of both TE's and SR's Mike, I think that is virtually the whole lot of variations. Nice to see.

I'm not nit picking here Mike but you don't have a 61 SR1 with the old type piston rod unless you haven't pictured it?

No MM. I have the major modification iterations.

Dont have the kit SR or the long boilered version either.

Ah Mike. What a great collection. Makes me feel very good and your new SR fits into the family very well. It is addictive though and I can still see you filling in the 'odd gap' here and there. Before you know it you'll need to buy a second piano or move half of the collection to a new home.

Thanks Manx,

I really needed an aluminum wheeled SR1a - it was the one major iteration I didn't have! I can think of several other 'in between' updates which the completeist on the TE and SR front would want.
