What I like is the really enthusiastic appearance of the exhibitor in the second photo

I'm going to be building something very similar

I did all the drawings ages ago but this gave me the inspiration to get going with it

... super pix, Jim! I can understand your obsession with that modified SE3 - I share it! Wow!
And your D20 plant is already a classic - and my favourite!
Did you by the Newcomen as a kit?

The SE3's excellent isn't it!

Thanks! Im very pleased with my D20

The Newcomen was ready made and is a load of rubbish to be honest!
toxx

... I like the shape and materials used - why is it rubbish?
steamyjim

It's terribly made and doesn't work
Chris

It was!

Great photos Jim, with really nice detail.

Some very nice setups there.

Thanks for posting the detailed SE3 pics. I've seen it before somewhere, but never realised all the small detailed mods on it. Even down to the union nut exhaust fittings on the blocks. A lot of work gone into that
Atticman

Thanks for the pics, Like Roly I admire the lady in pic 2s interest.

The SE3 is brilliant, like the German looking litho type base

Cant get enough photos of it
Mamodman123

I remember that SE3 being sold on ebay, it turns up ALOT in event pictures. It's done nicely, but can't remember how much it went for.

ME2, that's interesting. I've seen two now, as one was on an auction site (not ebay) not long back.

He built that SE3. He showed me pics he'd taken of it during construction
Minor1PJG

Great to see a Minor1 running a full workshop.
