STiA purchaseWhat did I buy at STiA on Sunday? One of Ian Grantham's (MamodFan) superb MF Twins. What a beautiful engine it is, it looks gorgeous and is so beautifully made, I love it

Jeez John, I have to admit if I hadn't spent so much earlier I think I would have succumbed as well.
I also agree that the quality is superb.
What a fine addition to your collection.

They are nice engines, but I didn't see one running at STIA, was too busy up the in the loco's and on the forum stand

We were on the table next to Ian and he had some of his engines running. Very well they ran too.

They're very small shouldn't be hard to sneak in and are certainly worth the risk of her finding out. Can you pretend that you made it yourself?
They are not "cheap" but you do get what you pay for in terms of quality.

Would be interesting to keep a link on the numbers for the future, then can trace what happens to them. I asssume that MF has such a record
Wonder if/ when one will get onto ebay and what it would make

My engines won't be in the Major's condition at STIA . They will all be running, oh and be clean until they are fired I will probably bring along my squirty bottle to for Victor seeing as that acts as a nice fire extinguisher
