I'm not going to write a very long report as i have quite a few photos to post up here.
I think STL 2011 was a great success like the one before it and we were also very lucky with the weather (even if it was a bit windy), most of you will know it was my birthday and i'd like to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes and i hope you all enjoyed the cake.
There were too many highlights to list but it was great to see both the pumping station engines working which was a bonus to the day, i'd like to thank a few members: firstly to Odilon for lending me his workshop for my Perseus plant to drive and to Dan for supplying me with the spring drivebelt to run it with, i'd also like to say a big thank you to Pete who came to my rescue with the loan of a table and for the gift of the syringe and diecast car, i also have to thank Sandy for his superb guitar work and also for the cheese.
I also think James and the volunteers of the pumping station deserve a mention for all the hard work they put in organising the event.

All i want to know is who did you get to paint the date on the chimney
I photoshopped that image Colin.
Maybe James could get them to do it for real next year.

Well superb photo's and David and Dan certainly didn't disappoint with their tables as they have some very fine engines between them and well the other tables it is just steam - YOU ALL put on a fantastic display and well done guys n Girls.

Thanks for all the pics, Philip. It's great to know who belongs to each table, too.

I figured the pumping station chimney was done by the "Spirit of Fred Dibnah"! Would be more than appropriate if it were!!!
BTW: those photos and that reportage were most excellent, thank you.

Glad you like the photos guy's, shame you couldn't attend Richard as i missed you, John, Graham & Jilly although many of you were mentioned in conversation so you were there in spirit.
I've got a few more photos to add and i'm only going to do a very short video as Sandy took some great footage, i think the forum DVD is going to be great this year.
