STUAR water gauge partsI need the lower part of the water gauge (it consists of two parts and water tube)
All other parts are okay, but the lower part i have is worn, the screws won't hold inside.
So does anybody have such a thing in spare?

What size do you need as they do two different thread sizes and I think so of their older threads were 1/4 in x 40 tpi.
Water Gauge Threaded 1/4 in x 32 tpi fitted with 3/16 in dia glass.
Water Gauge Threaded 5/16 in x 26 tpi fitted with 1/4 in dia glass.

I need the smaller one
(the same that fit to a 500 and 501 boiler)

Remember to add postage and then 15% VAT to these prices.

That is too expensive for me!
Why should i buy a complete one where my wate rgauge is complete buy the lower part is just worn.
Stuart sells them only complete.
So i asked if anyone has one in his bitbox
If no one can help, i will solder up the screws.
(the upper part is ok, so i can insert the glass pipe there)

You might contact them and see if they could make that part available to you.

I found my junkbox one and found that the bottom one has broken .
The top one is different to the bottom one , the difference is the plug sizes .
Top plug thread size 1/4
Bottom " " " 3/16
Sorry i cant help . My advise , buy a nice new one , a while back i saw some cheap BIN ones on ebay so i bought 3 and used one .
The new ones have the added advantage of the blowdown valve .
I think its possible to restore the threads on your old one ( probly the best solution for you to retain a matched set ) but this would be a time consuming job .
