Stuart boiler & twin no name engine.

Well couldn’t resist the temptation and put in a bit and won this little collection for GBP280.

I think having watched a few Stuart 504’s that this is a good price but best of all my usual high postage cost to Thailand is waived as my brother is coming out of UK so will deliver it for free. I guess this would save 60 to 80 at least.

The sellers description says a “Sterling” like design engine but my understanding is Sterling is not a steam engine at all where this one is. With my limited knowledge I would think the engine scratch built but I would welcome any information any form members can give in identifying it.

Cheers Mick

That is a real nice set up, Boiler Engine and pump, I bet you cant wait till they arrive.

Thanks Calypso, I was having technical problems with that link.

John, yes looking forward to it is an understatement but it is coming on the slow boat to China (well Hong Kong) then out to Thailand wi8th family and friends so expect it next two months so patience required.

Anyway I also won a 501 and this just arrived and posted in tec. tips section. Was keeping an eye out for a 504 as I have a 10V and S50 but that twin engine is a great bonus and was really keen to take advantage on my brother coming out to save on postage. I will be busy for a while now getting this lot up and running.

Mick, you can't go wrong with Stuart boilers, engines and pumps.  As long as the engine was properly machined, it should run beautifully.  I've got 4 Stuart engines and each runs like a dream, quality is over the top.

2 month wait...ughh, but that will be a killer!

Sandman that’s a lovely engine, runs on almost nothing, just that little flame.
