Sorry, but I am not sure as I am not into loco's, nowhere to run them, I was sent the info as I am on ST update mailing list.
but someone must have one because they were previously made by Cheddar Models and were very popular.
steamyjim

I have an Iver and i think Chris Crains does aswell.

They have ossilating cylinders-but with HUGE amounts of power!

The steam valve by the dome is just a on/off valve to stop oil being sucked into the boiler after a run.

Its RC

Thanks Les, but I still do not see the terms, this just appears to be the online shopping cart.

Thats all I could find without actually ordering, but I do know that when I have ordered from them usually you have to pay first. Sorry if this is no help.

Thanks again, I was looking for shipping terms, delivery, export, that sort, payment at time of order is not a problem.

Funny that they do not have this basic info on their site, makes me almost wonder....

Speaking of, anyone heard from Chris in a while?

Sadly like the other former Cheddar Models items that Stuart Models has 're-issued' so far there is a significant price rise, and that is before the addition of VAT.

For those of us in the EU countries, you need to take into account VAT when buying items from the Channel Islands. So here is the actual cost: -

Iver     £585
P & P   £12
VAT     £104.48
Total   £701.48

Too pricey for the current market, and there is no tender option either.

I'm glad I managed to get one from ebay some time ago.

For that price you can get a much better slide valve Roundhouse or gauge adjustable Accucraft.

Stuart Models states 'whilst taking the opportunity to improve the overall appearance.' However you need to go to the News section to find out what the improvements are. 'We felt the overall appearance of the original model left 'room for improvement' and decided to amongst other things paint the buffer beams, line the cabs and paint and line the boiler bands.' Or see the flyer here http://www.stuartmodels.com/pdfs/Iver-Loco-Flyer.pdf

It will be interesting to see if they sell this first batch.

Stuart Models have just released a video of the 45mm Iver in action - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=SpfltCTBqdE

Sadly the soundtrack is very dour (need to turn up the volume quite a bit to understand what he is saying) and the video is somewhat dark and low res.

Do not think it will help to sell these locos.
steamyjim

Terrible video-are they going like Mamod?

Expensive load in the wagon though!

Looks like 2 Gemini and 2 Puffin engines!
Graham-Jilly

the price is a bit steap for me

I find nearly all Stuart Turner models are expensive unless you buy the kit of materials and machine it yourself, but saying that, their steam engines are nice.
bessytractor

thats a very happy little runner.  I've never seen a RC driven 16mm loco driven so smoothly.  I'd get one if I had a railway.

The new liveries are nice too.  The old Cheddar plain black Iver was a bit drab, even though you could do it up yourself.
steamyjim

Aye i agree with you there Bessytractor!

Just for the money theres much more choice out there

it actually runs better than most Roundhouse locos I've seen.  Then again it could just be the drivers!
steamyjim

My Ivers a bit ermm uncontrollable. Then again its a prototype and has thicker cylinder faceplate things Stores extra steam when you start it, making it shoot off

Later ones were thinner
