It's near me too! I looked at the catalogue for that sale and thought about going, but I didn't in the end. I'll certainly go and have a look at the Sutcliffe exhibition in Horsforth Museum though. I didn't know they had a museum! 
That's a good article about Sutcliffe too. I'll keep that for future reference. |

I looked at it on line before the sale but it doesn't seem to be there any more, presumably because the sale has passed. The auctioneer was Hartleys of Ilkley... so have a look at their site. There was one battleship, 1920s no superstructure but coil etc. Went for £290. Lot 459

There was a good pool two years ago
But last year the pool guy was ill and there was no pool. This probably saved me from terminal frostbite

I was there and inside and it certainly was not nice and warm, it was dry though except for where the roof leaked.

These things are all relative. I survived indoors, had I been out at the pool I would not be writing this now
