The Dog WalkersBill Huggett, deceased, rich Miami Attorney...his last case
was to take on for the families of the SS Norway boiler explosion victims their pursuit of reparation monies.
Bill felt ill one evening, drove himself to the hospital,
died in the car along the way. They found him slumped at the wheel.
We had in common a love of old cars and
we both liked dogs, but, for different reasons.
Just found this thread:

So I learn late, only today, that Bill's employees promptly robbed his bank accounts upon the word of his death.
What I applied to that blog's commentary:
My gosh, just stumbled on this news.
So she's a simple common thief. Case closed.
I knew Huggett in another way. I live about three blocks from his his home.
I met him by chance while walking an old dog which I'd recently rescued from the street.
It was 1999 and the dog was sixteen and wobbly on four legs.
Bill walked his matched pair of brindled mastiffs.
We talked of old cars; we both owned and drove antique Fords.
"How old is that dog, anyway?"
"Sixteen, says the former owner".
Bill was alright, but he just liked things to be sharp.
Barney was not sharp.
"I couldn't have a dog like that."
(I had a dog like Barney because that dog needed a home).
Anyway, Barney and I met Bill on walks many a time.
Barney was ancient.
Bill died in August 2004 and was shocked in the process.
Barney did better.
He outlived Bill and made it past his twentieth birthday.
Bill and his matched brindled mastiffs were good sorts,
if a bit particular about style, lol.
Good old Barney. October, 2004.
He outlived them all, and better:
Barney never judged a soul.
