The Steam GenieYou have been down at your local car boot sale and picked up Mamod Minor 1 for next to nothing, it's in a sad and dirty state.
You get it home and start to give it a polish and 'POOF' out pops the 'Steam Genie'
'Thank you for freeing me from my prison. I will now grant you one wish' He says.
'You may have any steam toy, from past or present, rare or common as your reward. The only rule is it must be a toy and not big enough to carry or pull you. (IE no 5 or 7 inch scale steam trains', He follows up with.
What would you choose?
At first I was thinking an early Marklin Gauge 1 loco but then I decided on a
SR & RL #24 radio controlled loco from roundhouse

Can't say I have jimbo! but good things come in small packages
I would take any Early Mamod to be honest, so much choice though, not an easy question to answer
I wouldn't take anything I could just go and buy in the shop tomorrow, like a le mans racer

Titan

The only two models Id really like woulkd be either of the boats - Meteor or conqueror or a 1939 MM2. I have had 2 of them within my grasp onlyto be sniped or in the case of the Meteor scuppered by a greedy seller.

Indeed that's usually what happens Mike, pick yourself off and get a Meteor though
In time the right opportunity will arise!

Decided to drag this thread back up.
Have a look through and let us know if the Genie has answered your wish yet or if you have changed your mind about what you want.
I have changed my min I now want the Genie to give me a mint Bowman 234 loco with tender and track and of course a small amount of rolling stock for it.

The Steam GenieWe can all wish for an SE4 or a twin cylinder MM2 but I'd just like an SE3 at a resonable price that I can use as a runner or the one that I have in bits to work again. Also for all Dragons both Pen and OZ to be gone
Thanks Santa HO! HO! HO!
Cheers
