The Summer 2008 House of Moose Steam Engine Sale!!!

Get in there quick - follow the link:

All lovely stuff there Moose.

Good luck with the sale.  I'm tempted by a few items.  I'll have to check my piggy bank
Graham-Jilly

great engines great prices
good luck still paying off the holiday here
johnreid

You put those up right after I bought another engine, pure evil it is

Cant afford them now but want them all, best of luck in your sale all reasonably priced and in great condition.
MTA

Luckily for me I already have some of those engines you are offering for sale Moosey.

However, that M175 is very tempting
Les Marsh

It's a pity I just got a M175 off e-bay otherwise I would have been interested.
Atticman

Nice group of engines there, would be tempted by the Bowman train,  but the attics too full to host a track

The SELs neat, no lathe for Les though

I did have a good look to see if there was one.
Stitch

Moose, you are giving stuff away mate. The SEL twin is worth that by itself without the workshop!

Why didn't you advertise this a year ago before I bought all my tools
MooseMan

Nah.....I'm much happier selling these toys for a modest profit to someone who'll appreciate them, rather than them ending up with someone like Sandra.
cam-steaman

Sandra? was that the pink mamod incident?
MooseMan

....among others.....
igy569

Nice stuff!!
Figures I just spent all I could just this week.  Going to look at a Wilesco collection that the guy who has it is willing to trade, and I happen to have the kind of stuff he wants!!
I can't wait... its makin the day go realy S L O W . . . .
MooseMan

I'm in no particular rush, so I'm just going to leave everything up until it either sells or people clearly aren't interested.....a few pieces are gone though.
madeinenglang

good look m8 if I had the cash I would have  them all
pauly

did you ever sell that minor from last time that was in my opinion a little over priced
MooseMan

No mate, but that's 'cos I changed my mind about selling it.

What you have to realise that if you buy an engine from me it's risk-free, because I know about this stuff - it will also be very well packed and fully insured. Also, I'm not desperate for cash, so I'm not necessarily after the quickest sale, but if you genuinely think an engine is overpriced, just make me a counter offer - worst that can happen is I'll say no, we won't fall out over it.

100% agree.

I bought my Bowman M122 off Moose, for £150 inc next day delivery p+p. Some say that it's too much, BUT I knew I was buying an engine completely as described, with no nasty suprises.

In my opinion that's worth paying that bit extra for
johnreid

If he needs character references, Moose is one top notch fellow, it is worth a few pounds more to get something without all of the risk. You can get some things on Ebay for a real good price, but you never know for sure what you have till it arrives. With Moose, you will know all of the flaws etc before you even commit to buy.
If I hadnt just spent a big chunk of cash on other things, Mooses items would be high on my want list.
MooseMan

Thanks for the endorsement mate!

Should also say that if you buy something and it turns out that it's not what you expected, you can just send it back, and I'll refund (as long as you didn't break it of course)
James

In short, you "Get what you pay for!"
MooseMan

Still a few for sale folks!

Feel the same way John just got to remember that the SEL major is the cost of a new magneto

Well........ It had to be me, didn`t it?!!

Someone had to cause a few ripples........

Someone had to be not completely happy......

BUT......

We talked about it.

Odilon fixed it.

It`s arrived today.

I`m happy now!!

He`s A Gentleman...... TRUST THE MOOSE.......
MooseMan

Just went to the site.

Is it just the two Bowmans left?  Are there others?

Al
MooseMan

Just the two Bowmans I'm afraid - everything else is sold. Still selling a Bowman-Luton mariine engine on eBay at the moment, see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAP...em&rd=1&item=220238963246
