I've just got a small flat, and that's why Locos are out for me really.

We have been building a large 16mm scale and gauge 1 railway at my model engineering society.. a 20 minute walk along the old railway track and through the next two villages.. here it is..

It is more complete than that now, we are fitting the ply tops on sunday and then its onto track laying..
Also a friend of mine has a large garden layout I run on.

How many sets of tracks can you fit onto the oval??

On the clubs oval we are hoping to start with 3 finescale O, two for live steam one for battery, then another O with electric pick up through the rails and finnaly one Gauge one track on the outside..

The Y10 was bought with a garrett and the battery off a chap steamyjim introduced me too, his stuff often comes up on the UK ebay so have a look!
