This one is looking good (mission Compleat)

I am restoring this David Auld mobile for our steam/modlers club its comming up nice i still need to make the canopy and the wheels will be repainted i just had to take a photo with my Aulds...... 7 in a row looks awesome

yes the early Auld's had copper boiler's then they went to a similer size brass boiler and then to a smaller diameter brass boiler.you can see the differance in the line up pics.

Well My David Auld TE rosto is done now and i am happy with how it turned out.Now it must be returned to the Nelson Modlers club    and put on display with all the other engines.

That is a cracking job you have done there, what sort of paint did you use on the canopy??

Renown did it too and somewhere someone posted a German mobile that is older than both Cranko and Renown that did it so it is possible both OZ and NZ ones copied a very early German one.
But to be honest 'Who Knows'?
