Thread about Funnels, Cups, Oilers...Here it comes finally...
I took the pictures and posted them new, with markings to each thing.
So you can see wich style belongs to wich maker!
I hope this helpes a little bit.
The small cups were used to fill the burner AND to fill the boiler.
E.G. on the instructions stands use 1 cup of meths for the burner and take 4 cups for filling the boiler.
Very important if the boilder didn't have a sightglass...
If you have the correct small cup and the instruction, you know exactly how much you have to fill in.
The wrench and the poker only came with marklin engines!
Also the cups with the stamped 0,I and II on it were only marklin.
The Large cup is Bing, but Doll had similar ones, only a bitt smaller than the Bing's......
Please ask if i forgott something to mention....
The small red paper says that it is important to give the marklin safetyvalve sometimes a drip of oil...

Here comes the addition!
The blue Envelopes used to come with marklin engines.
The 3 Instructions shown before were in it (the torn one)
The other came with the instruction for the electricaly heaten marklin...
The other pics show a Bing Instruction for a smaller modell.
Levers in position I= open, position II= closed

thanks for your nice words
I am always seeking new things for my collection.
E.g. a Doll Cup or something i do not have now
I would swap it for one Bing funnel and Bing Cup....

These are a little different as they are from English engines. The dish and funnel on the left are from a Mastrand Steam Roller and dish and funnel on the right belong to a Butcher Steam Roller.
And of course this pair of bits I have just got. I was told Marklin but Mirko thinks maybe Bing.
