Tilford Toy Steam Rally 2012

I received my copy of Toy Steam News today and I was very pleased to see that the Tilford Toy Steam Rally is going ahead next year, it will take place on Easter Saturday 7th April 2012, if all goes to plan I will definitely be there again.

Is that available online?
I'd like to see what is in there before I subscribe.

There is a website www.toysteam.co.uk  but it doesn't show the magazine content or there wouldn't be any subscribers.

Personally I think it well worth the money but then I would wouldn't I ?

Does someone reckon they could either summarise the statement from Dells or scan it in? I don't subscribe to TSN but would like to know what has happened.

It will be good to see you again.

Della has sent me a poster to advertise the event at STIA. I'll stick copies up around the shed etc. Meanwhile here it is, you are welcome to copy and display it.

She says that she has arranged for the same weather as last year

That's good to hear.

I shall still bring the gazebo and wellies and handwarmers
Swift Fox

Poster looks good Fred, i'm hoping to attend this event for the first time this year as last year's event looked good from what i read in TSN.

I'll be taking my handwarmer to STIA as i think i'll need it this year.
Dr. Rog

I hope to come, and to exhibit.

I have a marquee, 16ft, a picnic table and a wall papering table.

Might have to think about the details.

Sadly i don't think i'll be able to make Tilford this year. Hopefully there will be a write up in TSN like last year so i can see what i missed.
David

Can I suggest we organise a meet at some point for all members of the forum?

A meet and greet maybe?

i will be there but i dont think i can take much im useing my car
Dr. Rog

After a lot of thought I have decided to come.

I had a great time last year but I was worried about the weather this year - and I have been desperate to complete our new bathroom, which will be delayed, I have been poorly and have done no preparation - but ultimately I need some R&R so lets see what happens

I have not got permission yet but I am sure I will be allowed in.

I will bring the Gazebo, and tables at least. I may chuck the playpen in if there are tables to put it on, but its not suitable to be on the floor and neither is my back.

If I put it up I will have some room for other exhibitors to get out of the wind. A bit of cooperation will allow us to look round.

See you there
Sandman

I hope you all have a great time guys.

Remember, plenty of pics for those of us who can't make it.

PLANS CHANGED

THE PLAYPEN IS PACKED, TABLES HAVE BEEN BOOKED

Engines only get loaded on the day for security. The only problem is I have re-ordered the loft and don't know where to look
Les
