Tod the Tram!Well we collected my tram engine today! He is 5" gauge, tram outline and after lots of testing with volt meters etc works!!
I hope to run him tommorrow at my MES and then strip down for a new body, axel hung motors, new controll board, and some lighting!

Looks like fun, a paint job might do untill you are ready to redo the body.

I ran him today, I managed 6 laps on my own and 2 with a small kid on the trolley around a 600ft folded figure of 8 and got it up a 1 in 60 grade
Now to charge the batteries, a little work on the electrics and get creative with the polly filla!

Thanks Les,
1 in 60 is very harsh and im not suprised the batteries fell in voltage very quickly.
I have added a number 7, repainted the bare wood and added a face just to show it aint no box!!
