Twin Bowman Twins! This was fun! My restored 122's on the left, the one fresh from eBay on the right. As you can tell it's still running a bit rough, but getting much better already.

Glad to here, it would be a shame to split them up.

That's a great sight! I wonder how often two M122s have ever run side by side?

Bowmans look so effortless when they are running.
No fuss, no drama, just chugging away.
Lovely.

Odilon,
You sure snuck that one in on us.
Very good runner if that is how it arrived off eBay...well done. Sounds however like it might just be passing thru the house of Moose!!! Never hurts to build up trade bait and Bowman's are like holding gold, they never seem to go down.
cheers,
Rog

Great to see 'em chugging away in tandem, Odilon. Somehow, they remind me of SE4's!

Rog, I got lucky! Seller put it on with a VERY reasonable buy-it-now and I happened to spot it within minutes of it being listed. You should've seen the speed with which I hit that button!

Chuck, you're dead right of course, and that's no coincidence! When Bowman ceased production Malins took over where they left off, and most early Mamods bear a remarkable similarity to Bowman models.[/i]

Yup pretty much, although the base mounted chimney was removed for most, and everything was downsized and made more compact
The M122 is on the list
