Two boats from the GMES show

I see they take potential theft more seriously there than at STIA.

They're both very nice, but I especially like the little Snowdrop.

Beautiful photos of two superbly crafted vessels.
Like Roly, I was a little surprised at the security precautions. I left Topaz unattended at STIA for considerable periods of time while I took in the rest of the exhibits.
I think, however, that the forum members were a considerably more effective deterrent than a bicycle lock around a small copper pipe.

Very nice pictures and I too prefer the 'Snowdrop'.

Two peaches. The smaller one is really something for it's diminutive size but i'm a sucker for a turbine.

excellent craftsmanship! (I'd never be able to build something like that and then fire it up, too unnerving. )

A nice sharing of photos Miles..so the million dollar question...Did the owner give any hints as to performance of his turbine on the water?

He steamed it up and sailed it around the little pond. It was a treasure to behold, very fast, and with that wonderful turbine sound.
