Updated Mamod Steam Railway. Co websiteMerry Christmas.
Just to let you know I have re-designed my website dedicated to the Mamod Steam Railway.Co.
I have yet to finish the For Sale and Wanted pages and the page on Other Steam. If you want anything MSR.Co related added to the For Sale or Wanted pages then let me know.
Any suggestions for the links pages under the current section heading will be welcome, as will suggestions for ne sections in the links page. Also, suggestions for new page topics and any other improvements you care to come up with I an happy to consider.
Not been as active on this forum as I would like recently, been busy on web and work stuff, and today we are off to Euro Disney over Christmas, so I will catch up when I return.
Have a good one everyone and hope Santa brings you all the Steam Toy you wish for. Mines going to be an unfired Cheddar Hurcules!
Happy Christmas! MD

Just had a very quick look. Your site has come together nicely.
Wish I had got that SL3 for £25, what a bargain.

Hi Alan,
I had a look at your revised website on my return from S.E. Asia - a very big and welcome improvement.
Only problem I see you having is keeping the list up to date of your ebay purchases - see you got the William set recently, hope you find the experiences of Titan and myself useful in taming this beast (I've used up all my butane/propane gas so no more running of William at present!).
Have a good Xmas with the family - look forward to your future postings.
Chris Cairns.

That SL3 is quite bad and I have had to get a new cab front and it was too badly bent. I also need to repaint it but I don't know at the moment what the proper paint colour is or how to replace the lining and logo. But it will do for now as it represents the early SL3 with straight smoke stake, the one that was rreleased just before they introduced the brass sparke arrester.
I now only need an SL3 with brass spark arrester and an SL3 45mm special edition that was made for the G Scale group to compleate my collection.

Yep, and I'm going to take a ride on that oil fired steam loco that goes round the park.

Thanks Chris, I have two of the Jubilee williams aswell now, so hopefully one of the three of them should work. I am glad I got the set as I wanted to have a look at the new rolling stock and get some review photos.
I have also recently got two SL4s and two SL5s to add to the web site.

I have sure enjoyed it too, I have to stay away though as I get the urge to buy a Trainset each time I look at that site, no money and really no place to run a train either, But they sure look like a ton of fun.

Thanks guys, glad you like it.
I have just recieved a new edition William set. I have not had chance to fire it yet as I am trying to get my SL1K Pandoa and my No4 new Jubilee loco going ready for a New Year steam up tomorrow at the Dartmeet SDGRG layout.
Will let you know how it goes, but got to go now as the Jubilee is raising steam!!

Is the 0-6-0T on your site by chance a one-off loco built by IP or PPS?
Thanks!

Seems for some reason or other Mamodevon has been locked out of this Forum, so you will not get an answer soon.

Any member having log in problems only needs to email admin to have it fixed.
We can't fix it if we don't know about it.

I was just going by this message that I saw was left on Mamodman123's new website guestbook -
Mamodevon: Help, sorry to contact you through this route with a forum question, but I have changed my email address in my profile and it said something about being locked out then the message diasapiered and I cant log in now. Any idea what I have done wrong? please email me at mamodevon@blueyonder.co.uk, thanks.
If I have misinterpreted this message then I apologise for any confusion caused. I was just wondering why we have not had any more updates from Mamodevon, as he is still very active on ebay buying all things Mamod Railway. I guess he is just otherwise busy.

If you change your email address in your profile the forum automatically locks the account and the admin needs to reactivate it.
Its an unfortunate by product of us having to enable admin activation to keep spammers out so if you need to change your email address in your profile before you do it send a PM to James or Wallace and tell them you are changing your email address so they know to reactivate your account.

Sorry don't know the origin or maker of that one. It has got PPS wheels though.

As I said earlier, I apologise for any confusion.
Mamodman123 You must admit that as it is the 2nd comment that features on your revised website's home page with no date attached, this could be implied to be a very recent comment.
Mamodevon Glad to hear you are still busy. Looks like we will be getting a review of the Mamod William from Tag Gorton shortly ( http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/ftopic7103-90.php ).

I will have a word with Tag and lend him one of my six williams to play with if he needs to see how bad they can be.
I met the guy that designed the william jubilee loco for Mamod. Bit of a saga that is to be expected from Mamod. They asked someone for help, then ignored their advice, then came back to them for help when they had cocked it up, and once they got what they wanted then turned their backs on them agian. So be warned Tag, you efforts may be frustrating! See me at Nut Bush or Buckfast next time and I will explain more. I'm the one with the little red Mamod.

Thanks for the reply Mamodevon-
I had heard (I think on one of the 16mm forums) that PPS or maybe IP had done a one off 0-6-0, or someone had done one using a Jane/Janet. That is why I asked if this was it.
